Those four letters HELP
are very familiar to me because I’ve heard
them – often in desperation – countless times over the years.
I’ve written since I was old enough to hold a pencil, let alone
a pen, and words and using them effectively have always been one of
my greatest pleasures.
I’ve been asked the same question many times “How do you
do it? How do you put together a text that sounds just like I’d
written it myself?”
The truthful answer is – I don’t really know. It always
happens that at some point during the initial meeting the person I am
writing for will say something that formulates an idea in my mind. This
in turn enables me to create a plan for his or her speech or presentation.
I have written on almost all topics for almost all occasions –
for small businesses to large corporations - professional bodies and
well known charities - for Bar Mitzvah boys to foreign Royalty - producing
speeches and presentations lasting from five minutes to two hours.
