There they are waiting for you to begin! A hall filled with people – at least half of whom you know!

You are the father or mother of the bride, you are the best man, the groom or even the bride herself, and you are about to stand up and speak.

Emotion is high on the agenda coupled with terror that you might dissolve into a voice-cracking whispering wreck!

The right words, well practiced and properly delivered, plus the prime rules of do’s and don’t’s will eliminate all fear of this happening.

Be humorous, lighthearted, sincere and complimentary.

A ten minute speech that is well planned and delivered with style and confidence, seems much shorter than a bad speech lasting two!

It’s worth making the effort to ensure your speech is remembered, but remembered for all the right reasons!
